Skyler So I was at a show today, a few small New England bands. No big deal, I figured it would be worth 10 bucks(and it was) Anyways, this band here is called Skyler, after the lead singer. It’s weird how he has the same name as me. Looking at him, felt like looking upon a future me, when my body’s all sorted out and I’m done with transition. That thought made me smile. Oh, and he gave me a free sticker and CD for having the same name (:

Those menacing warnings from a neighbor grew more frequent this summer, she said. “Toward the end, the neighbor said, ‘I’m going to burn your house down, and I’m going to kill you.’ “She also told us what she called a joke: ‘What’s better than one dead queer? Two dead queers.’ “ On the fifth anniversary of their move, the couple was celebrating with dinner in Nashville when they received a phone call: Their home was in flames. Driving to the still-smoldering scene off Citico Road, Stutte said she saw one word spray-painted on the side of their detached garage: “Queers.” The Sept. 4 incident is under investigation by state and local officials as a possible arson and hate crime. I made a new friend at school yesterday

She realized I was trans right away but didnt say a thing about it till I asked my friends Chris “hey does she know about me?” and he went blank “I dont think so”

she goes “that you’re a transie? I could tell. I know a lot of transies”(she has an odd way of speaking, calls everyone “hunnybunches” xD) and went on talking to me like I was an ordinary guy. It made my day a lot better, to be accepted right away by a complete stranger, when a lot of my friends don’t accept it that much. Later on, she looked at me and said “Honestly? You pass perfectly as male, I just know too many transies” 

She’s really unstable, lived in a few “programs”, and a foster kid, but she seems like she’ll be a good friend, and an ally. I mean she told the security guard to fuck off on her first day? xD school’s gonna be a lot more interesting with her and her stories.
